Biography

Timothy P. Coriden is a Partner with Coriden & Coriden, LLC, where he has devoted his legal career to the exclusive representation of injured workers throughout Indiana. For more than two decades, Tim has focused on helping individuals navigate the Indiana Workers' Compensation Act, advocating for clients before the Indiana Worker's Compensation Board and ensuring they receive the medical care, wage replacement benefits, and compensation to which they are entitled.

Tim represents clients at every stage of the workers' compensation process—from the initial filing of a claim through hearings before the Indiana Worker's Compensation Board, appeals, mediations, and settlement negotiations. He is particularly experienced in complex and catastrophic injury cases involving permanent total disability, traumatic brain injuries, amputations, spinal cord injuries, and other life-changing workplace injuries. He regularly advises clients on the interaction between Indiana workers' compensation law, Medicare, and Social Security to help protect their long-term financial and medical interests.

Recognized as one of Indiana's leading workers' compensation attorneys, Tim is frequently consulted by fellow attorneys regarding complex issues arising under the Indiana Workers' Compensation Act. He has presented at numerous continuing legal education programs and has served as a faculty member and co-host of the Indiana Workers' Compensation Masters Seminar, where he has educated attorneys on developing areas of workers' compensation law. Tim has also been recognized by Best Lawyers in America and Indiana Super Lawyers for his work on behalf of injured workers.

Tim's commitment to service extends beyond his legal practice. Throughout his career, he has served in leadership roles with numerous community and state organizations, reflecting his longstanding commitment to the legal profession and the communities he serves. His dedication to both the legal profession and the Columbus community has been recognized with a Key to the City presented by former Columbus Mayor Fred L. Armstrong.

Tim credits his love of the law and his passion for advocating on behalf of injured workers to his parents, founding partner G. Terrence "Terry" Coriden and the Honorable Kathleen "Kitty" Coriden (Ret.). After graduating from Xavier University and earning his Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo College of Law, Tim joined Coriden & Coriden in 2001, continuing the firm's long-standing tradition of representing injured people. He is married to attorney Ann Coriden, founder of Ann Coriden Law, and together they have two sons, Pete and Danny.
